The Pre-School is owned and managed by Karen Henderson-Williams who has also established and run other successful pre-schools in the area. Little Grove has been running since its opening in September 2000. The school offers girls and boys the opportunity to develop in a caring and secure environment.

Little Grove is one of two pre-schools and forms part of Village Pre-Schools Ltd. Its sister school is Little Villagers Pre-School located in Windlesham, Surrey.

Little Grove is located in the grounds of Hall Grove preparatory school.  Although independent from Hall Grove, it benefits from some of the facilities. We have the use of many of the school facilities. We use the school's main hall for music and movement and indoor activities and also perform our Nativity Play on the stage of the Main Hall in which all the children take an active role.

We have a secure outdoor play area attached to our building and also use the school playing fields for our annual Sports Day and the grounds for nature walks. All of these amenities help us in ensuring the education of our three and four year olds. We believe this enables us to offer a special impact on their education as well as the areas of development through the Early Years Foundation Stage which we follow.

Little Grove Pre-School offers a rich and stimulating environment, which supports the children’s learning and development, both indoors and outdoors.  This provides a positive framework to ensure the children develop in a happy and safe environment.  We always remember that every child is an individual and this uniqueness is at the heart of everything we do at Little Grove.

Throughout the year, we organise various outings for the children. We also arrange visits from the local community, including the Fire Brigade, Police and Ambulance Service.
